Refund & Return Policy
We strive to ensure you happy with your plant purchase. If you experience any issues. We're here to help. Please read the exceptions at the bottom of the page carefully before purchasing.
Canceling an Order Prior to Shipment
Simply email Olivia's Garden, contact link can be found at the bottom of the page, and as long as the order in question has not been processed for shipment, a full cash refund will be issued within 7 days.
Return Window
Customers must request a return within 14 days of receiving the items. Return requests must be confirmed via email with our customer service team. No returns will be accepted, nor refunds granted after 15 days of the customer receiving the product.
Refund/Return Policy for Defective or Missing Products
If you receive a item is incorrect, damaged by the carrier, defective in any way, or never arrived, by please contact us immediately. We will consider a return as follows:
- Olivia's Garden will request pictures of the damaged items which will be reviewed. Once reviewed, we will contact the customer to discuss resolutions.
- All returns are made through mail.
- If the item is damaged upon receipt. Olivia's Garden does not require for it to be returned.
- Customers will be refunded for damaged items within 7 business days once the customer has been notified and accepted their refund options. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
- We may refund the original shipping cost depending on the situation and the number of items purchased.
- The customer will be refunded by the original payment method, check, or PayPal.
Refund/Return Policy for Customer Remorse Products
When a customer purchased the wrong product, or doesn't want it, Olivia's Garden will accept returns as follows:
- Olivia's Garden will accept any unopened seed packages within 15 days for a full refund less shipping costs.
- Olivia's Garden does not accept returns for fruit, plant, bulbs or cut flowers due to their perishable nature.
- All returns are made through mail, and the customer is responsible for creating their own return label and covering shipping costs. We do not refund shipping fees. If they had free shipping, Olivia's Garden will deduct the shipping fees from their refund.
- Customers should contact Olivia's Garden to advise they will be returning seeds. Assuming the customer has returned seeds within 14 days of receipt, Olivia's Garden will process the refund within 7 business days using the original payment method. Some financial institutes take a few extra days to process payment.
- No returns will be accepted, nor refunds granted after 14 days of the customer receiving the product.
Mislabeled Seeds or Bulbs
Although a rare occurrence, seeds or bulbs could be mislabeled due to simple human error during the packing process. If you believe that this is the case with your order, please notify us as soon as the problem has been detected and attach an accompanying photo to an email to help us better understand the mistake. Once a mistake is acknowledged by us, we will work with you to find a resolution. If the refund for mislabeled seeds or bulbs occurs after 120 days of purchase, it will be processed in the form of a check.
Exceptions
While we strive to provide a seamless return experience, there are certain items that are not eligible for return or refund:
- Custom products or personalized items
- Damage due to extreme weather
- Gift Card
- Damaged items or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Dried or wilted bottom leaves (naturally occurring in all plants; can be easily pulled off without damaging the plant)
- Dried or wilted flowers / blooms (naturally occurring in all plants; can be easily pulled off without damaging the plant)
- Potting soil on leaves (easily washed off with first watering)
- A couple of broken, missing, or wilted leaves, as long as 75% or more healthy leaves remain intact
- Minor color / shape differences from photograph in product listings (many succulents change color / shape continuously)
- Package not received claims when proof of delivery is provided by the postal carrier
- Packages that arrive late because of shipping delay with the carrier
- Packages that are forwarded to a different address than the designated shipping address
- Any issues with the plants after 14 days of delivery
- Plants that fell off from the original nursery pot with stems and roots being intact and 75% or more healthy leaves remain intact
- Minor fungus gnats infestation
- Repotted plants that were shipped in the original nursery pot
- Failure to plant according to prescribed procedures and season
- Unrealistic expectation of bloom cycles
